During our stay, we loved how close we were to both Perry's Cave, just about 2 km away, and the stunning South Bass Island Lighthouse, only a short 2 km stroll from our place, making our early morning walks truly enjoyable. As a group, we appreciated having an efficiency double room with two double beds that comfortably accommodated our needs, letting us relax after our daily adventures.

This place suits me perfectly. It offers free Wi-Fi, outdoor dining, and a seasonal pool. On my first visit, the staff kindly helped me with an insect bite—truly memorable! I recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

I spent two nights in Cabin 2 at Bird's Nest Resort and it was definitely not what I expected. The cabin felt like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The floor seemed unstable and there were visible holes in the walls. When I checked in, I noticed a strong, unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore, and I had to buy candles just to make it bearable. The condition of the cabin was really disappointing. I asked for a different room since the one I had wasn’t acceptable, but the manager said they were all booked. That was frustrating! On a positive note, the location of the resort is convenient for getting to attractions, and I appreciated that the linens provided were clean. The manager did try to offer some compensation, but it just didn't make up for the overall experience. I hope they can clean up the property and take better care of the cabins in the future.

I loved that the location was just outside of town, making it peaceful yet convenient to explore Put-in-Bay. Our Efficiency Double Room was clean and had comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and eager to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. However, the pathways could use some maintenance, as they were muddy during our visit.

The location is great, just outside of town on the way to Millers Ferry. Rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy. We got the Efficiency Double Room with Two Double Beds. Helpful staff made our stay better. Nice outdoor pool to cool off after a hot day. Easy check-in and check-out process.

Despite moving rooms during an extended stay, the transition was seamless with clean and comfortable accommodations. Staff were extremely friendly, and I enjoyed a tasty Vienna Beef hot dog. However, some maintenance issues affected the experience, like a noisy AC and flickering lights. The outdoor paths needed clearer upkeep, and the distance from downtown could be a hassle for first-time visitors.
